Discover a stay at Thailand’s most lavish new hotel.

YTL Hotels is delighted to announce the official opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui. Found in Koh Samui, a tropical island in the Gulf of Thailand, the new resort seamlessly combines the brands legendary service with the traditional spirit of Thai hospitality and colourful Samui island life culture. With stunning views, luxurious rooms and soothing experiences, the new hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway in the centre of tranquility.

The 58-acre oceanfront property is located on the north-eastern part of the island and was once the site of a coconut plantation. Paying homeage to this, the resort has extensively used coconut and other natural materials within its surroundings.

For the foodies,  enjoy a dramatic experience filled with scents, flavours and colours. These include Shook!, a stylish interactive dining space, serves innovative Asian and Western dishes. For Thai, dine at Pak Tai for a southern interpretation of Thai cuisine using the finest ingredients sourced from local markets.

At Salt,  international classics and Thai favourites are savoured in a relaxed ambience; and Tides, an ideal spot for sun-lovers to unwind with a refreshing cocktail from the poolside bar. The circular bar and lounge, One Rai, is an intimate refuge for sundowners and Asian-inspired appetisers.

Every Saturday, guests can enjoy Baan Talat, a weekly outdoor dining experience that serves an authentic array of à la minute Thai street food dishes cooked at the individual street food stalls; traditional dancing and fun local crafts.

The 175 exquisite suites and pool villas echo local architectural aesthetics and contemporarily designed interiors with soothing colour palette tones. Spacious, light and airy havens are complemented by surrounding views of either the ocean or the beautifully manicured gardens.

Inspired by the therapeutic properties of natural local ingredients and age-old healing practices of the region, the 3,800 square metre Spa Village Koh Samui respects the environment, culture and traditions to create holistic and rejuvenating spa programmes. The new spa includes eight treatment suites, three massage pavilions, a yoga pavilion, health bar, and for those seeking an indoor swim, a lap pool with intimate cabanas.
