Joining the portfolio of Autograph Collection Hotels, The Pantheon Iconic Rome Hotel has opened its doors in the heart of the Eternal City.

Marriott International has officially opened its latest 5-star addition, The Pantheon Iconic Rome Hotel, a beautifully designed hotel with prime location to many of the city’s best attractions, stylish interiors and close proximity to The Pantheon.

Marriott International’s Autograph Collection Hotels is a distinctive collection of 135 independent hotels which strives for an image of passion, diversity and dynamic design.

“With its enviable location, individually-designed guestrooms, and imaginative dining experiences, The Pantheon Iconic Rome Hotel is a stunning addition to Autograph Collection Hotels,” commented John Licence, VP premium & select brands Europe at Marriott International. “We know that this sophisticated sanctuary in the heart of ancient Rome will exceed our promise to deliver exactly like nothing else guests experience.”

Interiors are the work of Marco Piva, a celebrated Italian architect, interior designer and product designer. Piva drew inspiration from the heritage of the city, following the Pantheon’s geometry and circular motifs with the use of marble and brass throughout the hotel.

The building features 79 individually designed guest rooms, with 20 suites featuring custom designed furniture, furnishings, and original works of art. The rooms are abundant in luxury upholstery, bathrooms are in marble and glass, and colour schemes gradually brighten on each ascending floor. All rooms in the hotel feature a rotating selection of items inspired by local Rome events and happenings. Plus, there’s a minibar in each room and a second mini wine cellar that’s equipped with three full-sized bottles of champagne and wine options.

And for guests wanting those extraordinary views, just outside its windows are cultural icons such as The Pantheon, Piazza Sant’Eustachio and Via di Santa Chiara.

For the foodie crowd, there’s plenty to whet your appetite. Michelin-starred Pasquale Palamaro is set to showcase signature gourmet dining experience at Dionysus Restaurant. The restaurant will serve only the freshest local ingredients fashioned into seasonal offerings with flavours of the Mediterranean. Make the most of the wine list – there are 400 labels to choose from.
