The luxe Upper East Side hotel is auctioning off a two-night stay in their sumptuous penthouse suite in aide of food charities, with the starting bid set at $150,000.

The suite, which was picked by Serena Williams and Amal Clooney for Meghan Markle’s illustrious baby shower, is one of the largest in the city. Standing at over 10,000 square feet, the 5-bedroom, six-bathroom suite typically costs $75,000 per night. Designed by celebrated French interiors master, Jacques Grange, the penthouse features custom furniture and includes a range of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as a library lounge, powder room, formal dining room, conservatory, two wet bars and a handful of fireplaces.

The auction forms part of The Mark Hotel’s effort to partake in the ‘All In Challenge‘, a charitable project that encourages celebrities, sports teams, and other organizations to give people the chance to win or bid on once-in-a-lifetime prizes to benefit those who need it most during the pandemic. Some companies are donating unique experiences such as golf with Phil Mikkelson, a BBQ with Bobby Flay, and the chance to go through batting practice with the Yankees.

The two-night stay in the lavish hotel comes with exciting additions including dinner by Chef Jean-Georges on the penthouse’s rooftop terrace overlooking Central Park. The winner will be able to bring up to seven guests with them to revel in this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Four of the guests will be treated to an indulgent pampering session and a cut, color, and blowout at the hotel’s Frederic Fekkai Salon. Unfortunately, this bid has now closed but many other auctions are still available here.

The entirety of auction’s proceeds from the auction will go to Feeding America, Meals on Wheels, World Central Kitchen, and No Kid Hungry. The penthouse suite is one of the most expensive items up for auction followed by Hermes Birkin bag with a current bid of $120,000. The challenge has already raised more than $40 million and has seen support by many loved celebrities and sports idols including Justin Bieber, Leonardo DiCaprio, Demi Lovato, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Aniston, among others.

Some of the other auctions and sweepstakes still available include an epicurean’s dream at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa; a 2-night stay in a deluxe villa at Wynn Las Vegas; a 5-night-stay a penthouse suite at The W South Beach; a cooking lesson and lunch with Eva Longoria and many more.
