Accommodation

Following on from a major renovation and introduction of35 new rooms and suites,each of La Coquillade’s guest rooms, junior suites and suites reflect the warmth and colours of Provence. Elegantly decorated in natural materials, including exposed stone walls, wood panelling, linen crêpe curtains and ochre tones, these cosy, private cocoons are equipped with every convenience, from flat-screen satellite TV and mini bar to Nespresso machine, a selection of Dammann teas and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Ranging in size from 30 to 65m², they all boast a private outdoor area, sumptuous super-king sized beds, desk, two armchairs, a bathroom with twin wash basins, a shower bath or separate shower and bath, separate WC, hairdryer, towel warmer and make-up mirror. Four family suites sleep up to two adults and three children.

SPA Suites

For a truly indulgent stay there are six SPA Suites. Finished in pale, contemporary colours offering the same levels of comfort as above, they include a contemporary hammam or sauna for two people, Jacuzzi or whirlpool bath.

Two of them aredeluxe suites: one at 60m2with private garden and terrace, outdoor jacuzzi, hammam for two persons, ‘Sundeck’whirlpool bath.The most luxurious of the SPA suites is 75m2in size and features a deluxe bathroom with Sundeck whirlpool bath, double Italian shower and hammam for two persons, while outside there is an outdoor Jacuzzi and private pool. The ultimate in decadence.

The Villa

About 10km from Coquillade Village on the Ménerbes plain lies the exclusive-use, 18thcentury, charming deluxe Villa – the perfect place to enjoy a holiday with family or friends with all the comforts of home. Guests benefit from daily cleaning, round the clock à la carte dining courtesy of a private chef, and use of leisure facilities at the Estate such as bike hire and tennis.

Surrounded by immense plane trees, poplars, cherry and olive trees, it offers sixdouble suites sleeping 12 people; a vaulted fully equipped kitchen, wine cellar and barbecue; dining room with covered terrace;large lounge with bar overlooking the pool; Private-SPA with hammam and balneo bath and geothermally heated outdoor pool.

Dining

Dining at Coquillade is an exquisite experience. Le Gourmetrestaurant serves a weekly set menu of gastronomic dishesprepared from produce grown in La Coquillade’s own kitchen garden or sourced from regional suppliers. Chef Christophe Renaud pays meticulous attention to detail in selecting the very finest products, whether it be organic olive oil and poultry from the Luberon, or wild fish from the Mediterranean. Enjoy the glamorous environs of the formal dining room or drink in the expansive views from the outdoor terrace.

Le Bistrotwith its Winegarden offers two locations in which to enjoygenerously prepared locally produced meats, fish and salads, either in a modern, contemporary restaurant or amongst the lavender fields and vines of the Estate. The poolside “Ristorante” serves Italian specialities such as wood-fired pizza, pasta and salads under the shade of giant parasols; a piano bar and lounge terraces serving fine wines and cocktails completes the food and beverage offer.

SPA & Leisure

Coquillade Village offers a magnificent recreational area and world-class SPA & Wellness Center within its countryside setting. The purpose-built1500m² Coquillade SPA providesrelaxation, wellness and fitness through its6 x 15m indoor pool, sauna, hammam, steam bath, multi-sensory shower and artisan Kneipp products and treatments. A dedicated spa lounge, garden and fitness area; hair salon; hydrotherapy room and pedicure room are available to guests, while for exclusive use there is one private spa boasting two massage tables, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, and private garden.

Biking

You can’t visit Coquillade without taking advantage of the unrivalled selection of famous Swiss BMC bikes from the on-site BMC Cycling Centre and embarking on a journey of discovery around the Luberon mountains. Choose from mountain bikes, road bikes, hybrids and children’s bikes and scale the legendary Mont Ventoux or the passes in the Mountains of Vaucluse, or a gentler ride through open fields and country lanes. Wine

The 70-acre Aureto Vineyardis perched on a sunny hillside in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Luberon, and enjoys splendid views over the villages of Luberon and Mont Ventoux. The vineyard produces a selection of Rhône Valley wines – AOP Ventoux and AOP Luberon – namely Autan, Tramontane, rosé, white and red, and special vintages Petit Miracle, Maestrale and Tempesta.

Guests can learn about winemaking through guided or self-guided tours of the estate, tutored wine tastings, sensory analysis workshops or even dedicated wine holidays.
