Available at participating properties until 31 August, the Summer in Motion campaign reflects a broader shift in luxury travel, with guests increasingly seeking holidays that leave them feeling restored rather than simply removed from everyday life. Across destinations including Paris, London, Istanbul, Toronto, Mauritius and Sri Lanka, Shangri-La has created a series of curated experiences that bring together spa rituals, outdoor activity, dining, family time and access to some of the season’s key sporting moments. Selected three- and four-night stays also include one complimentary night, giving travellers more time to settle into the rhythm of each destination.
In Paris, Shangri-La Paris places movement at the heart of a refined city stay. Guests booking four consecutive nights receive one complimentary night, along with 20% savings on treatments at Chi, The Spa by Aromatherapy Associates. The experience also includes an in-room jogging kit with a curated route map, signature cap and water bottle, encouraging guests to explore the city at their own pace, from the Eiffel Tower to the banks of the Seine. This summer also sees the addition of two new restaurant experiences: Les Salons du Prince, which celebrates the heritage of the former residence of Prince Roland Bonaparte, and Maison Roland, a Parisian bistro moving from garden-inspired lunches to candlelit evenings.
At Shangri-La The Shard, London, the campaign takes place high above the city. Guests can stay four nights for the price of three while enjoying access to the Level 52 wellness floor, home to Western Europe’s highest infinity pool and Sky Sauna. There are Thames-side running routes, in-room guided yoga flows, Elemis treatments, and personal training sessions in the Sky Gym, while an evening iced-tea ritual with Dragonwell green tea and citrus botanicals adds a restorative end to the day.
In Istanbul, Shangri-La Bosphorus offers one complimentary night on four-night stays, giving guests more time to experience the city and its waterfront setting. A highlight is the Five Elements: One Mindful Journey spa ritual at CHI, The Spa, which begins with a traditional Turkish Hammam before moving into a personalised treatment inspired by the elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. The stay also includes a Chinese Tea Ritual with the city’s only Kung Fu Tea Master, signature cocktails at Le Bar, seasonal fruit amenities and priority ticket concierge access to major summer sporting events. The hotel has also partnered with former national basketball player Şükran Albayrak to curate movement-led experiences, from Old City walking routes to rowing on the Bosphorus.
In Toronto, Shangri-La Toronto brings together wellness, dining and social experiences in the heart of the city. Its Stay in Motion – Wellness Stay offers three nights for the price of two, with Sleep Easy rituals, terrace yoga and personalised fitness assessments. Guests can also book premium experiences such as the Ice Bath Butler, which turns the bathtub into a private cold plunge, or reserve the Cinema Room for Game On, a private match-viewing experience with butler service, tailored menus, and drink pairings. Dining highlights include Fuel & Flow Afternoon Tea, Golden Hour cocktails and Wellness Brunch at bosk.
For a more tropical expression of the campaign, Shangri-La Le Touessrok, Mauritius, offers a five-night Indulgent Getaway combining full-board dining, curated beverages, a 120-minute Sense of Place massage at Chi, The Spa, and daily golf access to Ile aux Cerfs and Anahita Golf Clubs. Guests can also enjoy snorkelling, kayaking, ocean-view yoga and access to six beaches, including Ilot Mangénie, the resort’s private island. Families are also well catered for, with children under six staying, dining and playing complimentary.
In Sri Lanka, Shangri-La Colombo brings the campaign to the edge of the Indian Ocean, with a Stay 3, Pay 2 offer that includes complimentary Saturday poolside yoga, additional midweek sessions and extended spa treatments. Guests can maintain their wellness routines at the Health Club, which features a gym, outdoor pool, movement studio, Jacuzzi, and steam room, or unwind at Chi, The Spa, after exploring the energy of Colombo.
Further south, Shangri-La Hambantota sets Summer In Motion across 145 acres of tropical landscape. The resort’s summer offer includes guided bike rides, aqua fitness sessions and sunset cricket by the shore, while younger guests can enjoy trapeze, golf discovery and nature trails. With three swimming pools, Sri Lanka’s premier 18-hole championship golf course and restorative Ayurvedic treatments, the resort offers a balance of activity and ease for both adults and families.
