The illustrious Oberoi Group has announced plans for their first European venture – a set of sumptuous branded residences in London’s affluent Mayfair neighborhood.

The renowned luxury hotel brand has come together with privately-held real estate investment firm Cain International to create a collection of extraordinary living spaces that showcase Oberoi‘s dedication to excellence, right in the heart of one of London’s most sought-after areas. This enviable address will have the residences in close proximity to various major attractions including Hyde Park, Bond Street, Burlington Arcade and The Dorchester Hotel, along with a host of top-notch restaurants.

The residences will be housed at 17-21 South Audley Street in an expansive 48,000 sq ft Grade II Listed property. Built in 1845, this striking historic building will perfectly complement the brand’s commitment to creating unparalleled experiences for their guests. The development is due to be completed in 2022 and will consist of 23 serviced residences, a retail space and a small restaurant.

Founded on the principle that ‘the guest is everything’, the Oberoi brand is well-known for its unmatched personalized service. Combined with exquisite locations, opulent design and heightened gastronomy offerings, the Oberoi ethos ensures that guests have a truly unforgettable, heartfelt experience – and the UK property will be no different.

The London outpost will join Oberoi’s impressive portfolio of 33 five-star hotels and luxury resorts across India, Indonesia, Morocco, Mauritius, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The most recent hotel to open under the group’s umbrella is Oberoi Marrakech, an exquisite property in Morocco that sets new standards for luxury in the country’s most fabled city.

The Oberoi London will also be a welcome addition to Cain International’s ever-expanding repertoire of luxury hospitality investments and loans across the UK, Europe and the US, which includes Six Senses, Waldorf Astoria, Rosewood Hotels, Aman and Soho House.
