Chobe Water Villas are set in Namibia’s Kasika Conservancy (in the extreme east of the Zambezi Region in Namibia) and overlook both the Chobe River and Botswana’s Chobe National Park.

This exclusive and intimate “boutique” Lodge located in Namibia at the eastern tip of the Caprivi Strip, directly on the banks of the Chobe River, offers spectacular views of world renowned Chobe National Park and Sedudu Island. Conveniently situated 15 minutes by River Safari Boat across the river from the adventure town of Kasane in Botswana in an area 50,000 Elephants call home. Here, where the mighty Zambezi and Chobe Rivers meet, is where four countries’ borders touch: Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Chobe National Park, home to 164-mammal and 460-bird species, represents one of the largest concentration of wildlife in Africa including Leopard, Lion, Cheetah, Wild Dog, Hyena, Jackal, Hippo, Crocodile, Giraffe, Zebra and large roaming herds of Buffalo. Antelope species include Roan, Sable, Lechwe, Waterbuck, Kudu, Eland, Puku, Oryx, Springbok, Impala and the occasional rare Sitatunga.

Chobe Water Villas promises guests a warm Namibian welcome and a stay, during which they will be hosted in a relaxed, uncomplicated manner.

 

Accommodation is in 16 free standing 85m2 Water Villas located direct at or over the Chobe River featuring spectacular 180° views and generous en-suite bathrooms with double vanities, free standing baths and separate rain showers and toilets. Amenities include mini-bars, tea & coffee stations, hairdryers, digital safes, river and sunset viewing terraces and electric plugs for Europe, UK, USA and South Africa.

 

Wining & Dining at Chobe Water Villas’ separate Main Lodge is enjoyed indoors in the Library Lounge, Bar & Lounge with its “open all day” Butler’s Station or the Restaurant or outdoors on the shaded Lounge, Bar and Restaurant Garden Terraces all with spectacular views over the Horizon Pool and the magnificent Chobe River beyond. An authentic African Safari experience dinner is also served.

 

Other Facilities & Services include free WiFi access, conversation view-pits with open fires, a Curio & Gift Shop, a multi-purpose Photographic Review or Executive Board Room and a staffed Activity & Adventure Desk at which Game Drives or Water Safaris and other numerous tours and excursions can be arranged.

 

The Fully Inclusive Daily Rates at Chobe Water Villas include breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon Tea and all hot and cold beverages including local beers, wines and spirits served in the Main Lodge or from Villa mini-bars. Also included are road transfers from/to Kasane Airport and the water transfer across the Chobe River from Kasane Immigration point, choice of two (am & pm) Game Viewing Excursions per day and emergency medical evacuation.

 

Activities & Attractions included in daily rate is the choice of the following 4 (two per night booked):

  • Morning 4 to 5 hour open 4×4 Game Drive Safari into Chobe National Park (08:00 to 12:00/13:00) including Park Fees & Catering.
  • Morning 3 to 4 hour Chobe River Safari Cruise along the banks of the Chobe National Park (08:00 to 11:00/12:00) including Park Fees & Catering.
  • Afternoon 3 hour Chobe River Safari & Sunset Cruise along the banks of the Chobe National Park (15:30 to 18:30) including Park Fees & Catering.
  • Afternoon 3 hour Cultural & Sunset Boat Cruise on both Chobe and Zambezi Rivers (15:30 to 18:30) including the historic Kasai Channel and renowned Impalila Island along the shores of Botswana, Namibia and Zambia. Includes Catering.

 

Other Activities & Attractions available from the Activity & Adventure Desk are Cultural Village Tours, Impalila Island Tour including the Zambezi River, Mokoro Birding Safaris, Victoria Falls day excursion by road or air, Scenic Flights, Star Gazing and specialised Photographic or Fishing trips.
