Executive chef David McIntyre and celebrated chef Wolfgang Puck will be bringing a taste of Santa Monica’s Chinois on Main (Main Street, Santa Monica) toLondon for three days.
Taking place from Wednesday, June 27 to Friday, June 29, the delectable pop up will mark the 35th anniversary of Chinois on Main, where Puck pioneered the birth of fusion between Asian flavours and French techniques in America.
Family style tasting menus will be offered at both lunch and dinner, with an à la carte option offered at lunch time only. The menu will include signature dishes from the original 1983 Chinois menu such as Shanghai Lobster and Grilled Szechwan Beef and other popular Asian dishes by Wolfgang Puck from restaurants such as WP24 including Roasted Cantonese Duck and Broiled Japanese Black Cod.
David McIntyre, director of food & beverage and executive chef at CUT at 45 Park Lane,
commented: “I can’t wait to bring Chinois to London, it’s the place everyone goes for Asian fusion in Santa Monica. I’ll be putting a contemporary take on the most popular dishes from the restaurant’s original menu.”
Celebrated chef Wolfgang Puck added: “I still believe Chinois is one of the most creative
restaurants anywhere in the world. After 35 years in business, it is as popular as ever so we are very excited to bring the Chinois experience to CUT at 45 Park Lane.”
