UAE residents show a strong appetite for healthier homes—Eywa by R.Evolution delivers the solution.

Health and wellbeing have increasingly become top priorities for those buying homes, and this has become especially apparent in the UAE. A recent nationwide survey of over 1,000 individuals, conducted by R.Evolution in collaboration with YouGov, has found that 90% of UAE residents consider a healthy home environment essential, while over 80% are prepared to invest more in properties that actively support their wellbeing. These findings confirm a growing demand for residences that blend luxury with longevity, a philosophy that sits at the heart of Eywa, R.Evolution’s groundbreaking residential development set in Dubai’s iconic Business Bay.

Designed to meet this rising need, Eywa is more than a home; it’s a living, breathing sanctuary that fuses ancient wisdom with advanced technology to prioritise the health of both residents and the planet. Boasting the most advanced harmonised living water and air filtration and ionisation systems on the market, alongside features that promote energy alignment and emotional balance, Eywa delivers on the modern homeowner’s most pressing desires.

According to the recent findings, wellness-focused features strongly influence respondents’ home-buying decisions for both expats and Emirati UAE residents, with an overwhelming majority believing that their home should actively support their physical and mental wellbeing. 92% of participants revealed that indoor air quality is either extremely or very important to their health, while 93% place similar importance on access to clean, purified water at home.

As cities such as Abu Dhabi and Dubai continue to expand, 90% of residents continue to place great importance on natural light and fresh air to maintain their health and overall wellbeing. Similarly, the survey showed that 3 in 4 participants seek homes with nature-inspired designs such as indoor plants, natural materials, and views of greenery. As for wellness amenities, 68% of respondents consider spas, meditation zones, and fitness areas important to their living experience, with men placing a slightly higher value on these amenities compared to women.

The survey also reveals a growing awareness among UAE residents of ‘Longevity Real Estate’, a concept focused on building homes that support the long-term health, wellness, and quality of life of residents. Although the term is still gaining traction, 50% of respondents say they are already familiar with the concept. This growing awareness is also reflected in buying trends, as almost half of all respondents say they are extremely likely to spend more on homes designed to support physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

These preferences speak to a broader shift in mindset, particularly in Dubai, where luxury has traditionally been associated with scale and aesthetic. Today’s residents, however, are redefining luxury as something deeply personal, and a lifestyle rooted in health, meaning, and harmony. As the city continues its rapid evolution, developments that place wellbeing at their core are fast becoming the gold standard.

R.Evolution has been dedicated to this mission for decades, and its innovative project, Eywa, is a prime example that caters to UAE buyers. Over fifteen years ago, the innovative developer was among the first to craft properties that truly focused on residents’ wellbeing. Today, an increasing number of developers are embracing wellness in their properties, prioritising the holistic balance of body, spirit, and mind.

Set to complete in 2026, Eywa is the region’s only residential project to achieve both WELL Platinum and LEED Platinum certifications, two of the most respected global standards in health and sustainability. Its architecture is inspired by the banyan tree, blending organic design with high-end craftsmanship. At the heart of the building lies a 16-tonne Crystal Pyramid, embedded within the structure and housing 3,355 crystals and semi-precious stones. This structure works to cleanse energy and enhance focus, sleep, and cellular health by implementing ancient energetic principles.

Each of Eywa’s residences is designed with state-of-the-art air and harmonised living water activation systems, soundproof walls for enhanced tranquillity, cascading terraces with lush greenery, and private plunge pools, all offering residents a deep sense of sanctuary. Wellness extends beyond the physical design through exclusive services, including a 24-hour Resident Concierge, in-house chefs, and dedicated children’s facilities.

The development has also established partnerships with leading clinics specialising in longevity, Ayurveda, Chinese and Thai traditional medicine, as well as clinical medicine. Supported by the Health & Longevity Concierge, residents can utilise Eywa’s infrastructure to follow personalised recommendations, ranging from DNA testing and tailored dietary plans to Ayurveda treatments like Panchakarma.

Furthering its commitment to sustainability, Eywa features a self-cleaning terracotta façade that eliminates the need for harmful chemicals and irrigates its greenery with 100% recycled water.

“At R.Evolution, we have always understood that properties should not only be places to live, but spaces that people can thrive and experience a better quality of life,” said Alex Zagrebelny, Founder and CEO of R.Evolution. “We have been dedicated to this mission of focusing on residents’ wellbeing for decades, and the results of this survey validate what we’ve always believed: that people are searching for more than square footage. Today, there has been a recent shift in the number of developers embracing wellness in their properties, prioritising the holistic balance of body, spirit, and mind, and Eywa is the answer to that call.”

As health and sustainability continue to shape the future of real estate, developments like Eywa represent a new chapter in urban living where luxury is defined not by excess, but by intention. With its fusion of timeless wisdom, environmental responsibility, and cutting-edge wellbeing features, Eywa stands as a blueprint for the homes of tomorrow and a beacon of what’s possible when developers put people and the planet first.
