Sub-Zero Anywhere Refrigeration

This autumn Sub-Zero is introducing a ground-breaking line of integrated refrigeration, which just so happens to be the largest product rollout in the company’s 68-year history. The new line is the culmination of Sub-Zero’s industry-leading food preservation technology and impeccable design, including the new integrated refrigeration, which utilises Sub-Zero’s pioneering freshness technology. Additional features of the new line include filtered and chilled internal water dispensers; an optional icemaker with added control, to increase production by up to 30 per cent; digital touch screen to set the temperature; a drawer-damper system, which softens the closing of internal and nano-retention shelves to contain spills. The product line will be rolled out from September, over the course of 18 months.

Gaggenau Cx480 Full Surface Induction Cooktop

The technology involved in Gaggenau’s latest cooktop is brilliant. With one single cooking area (2,800cm2) allowing for all sizes and formats of cookware to be used (up to four pans), the cooktop is easily controlled by an extra large touch display, showing the positions, sizes and shapes of the cookware placed on the induction surface. Functions such as setting the time, temperature and cooking position can be controlled by lightly touching the panel with the relevant pan image symbolised on the screen. The cooktop automatically recognises individual pans and generates heat directly at the base of the pot by induction. Not only does this ensure that there is little loss of heat around the outside of a pan; it also allows different size and shaped ferrous metal pans to be heated easily and efficiently.

Offering a unique method of cooking, the Gaggenau CX480 makes a statement as a stand-alone appliance or fitted as part of the Vario Cooktop range, customised to your own individual
