The key philosophy of Harrods has always been about appreciating and enjoying genuine craftsmanship and this is what will be showcased during August, with its ‘Made with Love’ campaign.
Luxury, quality and hand crafted goods will be made the stars of the show, with very floor of the store highlighting pieces that have been specially conceived for the campaign; many are limited editions or one-of-a-kind pieces.
Some of the world’s most desirable bags, many with lengthy pre-order waiting lists, will top feature near the top of the list. Exclusive editions of Chloé’s Drew bag, a tangerine exotic clutch from Loewe, a heart-shaped Falabella from Stella McCartney and many more will also be availbale as part of the series.
A show stopping Fendi boutique will also makes its cameo in the famous ground-floor exhibition windows, allowing guests to experience a virtual version of its new headquarters in Rome’s Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana. The pop-up will be home to exclusive Fendi products and limited-edition bags including 2Jours and By The Way.
Elsewhere in the store, there will be clever edits of the best-known names in luxury, from bejewelled Jimmy Choo slippers for men and Etro high-shine leather brogues to limited-edition dresses from the world’s top womenswear labels, including Alexander McQueen and Mary Katrantzou.
The Fine Jewellery Room will showcase Bulgari’s one-of-a-kind jewels and Cartier’s Panthère de Cartier range of timepieces. In Home, there are three exclusive rugs from The Rug Company, selected by Suzanne Sharp, and the Food Halls will focus on Xavier David cheeses and Ibérico ham from Sánchez Romero Carvajal – both of which are exclusive to Harrods.
From personalisations, one-to-one appointments with experts, bespoke fittings and samples available throughout the store from top designers, the spotlight of ‘made with love’ at Harrods will be on the world’s finest artisans, who continue to meticulously cut, stitch, etch and polish in the name of integrity and heritage.
