With two-star Michelin chef, Richard Van Oostenbrugge, manning the helm of the Indigo Pearl restaurant, this could prove to be the best in gourmand vacationing.

Dutch born chef Richard Van Oostenbrugge has recently teamed up with the Indigo Pearl in Phuket to offer guests a holiday with a twist. Now not only do they get to relax in true Thai style, but onAugust 7th-8th theywill also have the opportunity to dine at the hottest table of the year.

The Gault Millau chef of the year, who is better known for his two-star restaurant, Bord’Eau in Amsterdam, will be in charge of this special offer of a seven day gourmet experience including two very exclusive nights of gastronomic cuisine prepared by the Michelin titan.

Over the last 15 years, the restaurant has become renowned for its gastronomic excellence that avoids gimmicks or fads, focuses on fine ingredients, seasonality, and continually attempts to push food frontiers.

At Indigo Pearl, Richard will be showcasing the specially designed six-course menu, as well as featuring some of his signature dishes, at its fine dining flagship, Rivet.The unique industrial chic experience will form the backdrop for his classic dishes such as North Sea crab with smoked avocado and glazed beignet, Dover sole with duck liver, Shellfish velouté and duxelles, Red mullet and ‘jus à Bécasse’ and Anjou pigeon with mustard miso, and desserts that include a balloon of Guanaja chocolate coffee and praline.

Commenting on the chef takeover at Indigo Pearl, General Manager Christopher Oakes has said that:
