Island-style living has never looked better. Located on the secluded southern peninsula of the Resort, the Royal Residence Villa at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita has unveiled a newly refreshed design.
Ideal for group getaways, the interior and exterior living spaces now see cooling tropical shades and soft textures blend together to create the perfect balance for island-style living. The design (the work of Virginie Dalais) uses natural tones to achieve an open warmth that complements the architectural structure of the Villa. Further homely additions are seen throughout – think welcoming lounge seating and an eclectic mix of furniture styles, with highlight pieces featured from Roche Bobois and lighting by Porta Romana.
As well as being elegant, it’s also great for eating too. The new, fully-fitted Mobalpa kitchen serves as the perfect space for in-villa dining, while a Four Seasons chef may also prepare dishes à la minute for guests upon request. Plus, all guests booking a stay in the Royal Villa receive the services of a Personal Host to assist with any needs and arrangements throughout their stay.
Don’t expect a squabble over the best bedroom, either. The five ensuite bedrooms offer views of the Indian Ocean lagoon or surrounding exotic gardens through white wooden plantation shutters, allowing the refreshing ocean breeze to gently pass through the Villa. The island feel is further brought to life by the links between artwork, wallpapers and soft furnishings – imitating paradise with every nook and cranny.
Outside, plenty more awaits to be explored. Located on the east coast of Mauritius, lapped by turquoise waters perfect for water sports, this relaxing resort is filled with lush greenery and dramatic views everywhere you turn – as well as resident giant tortoises.
Rates for the Royal Villa start from EUR 9,740 per night. Click here for more.
