Festive Season Delights at Le Meurice

Transformed with glorious finery, the very first Parisian Palace invites guests into the fairyland setting, with the promise of an unforgettable festive experience in true French tradition.

Wondrous festive interiors, special Christmas menus, and gourmet tea times await guests. The hotel’s talented team will create a magnificent programme of celebrations to welcome in the year 2020 with the well-known French elegance. Chefs, Jocelyn Herland and Cedric Grolet, will introduce the festive season at Le Meurice with the best of gourmet menus in the style of the haute cuisine of Alain Ducasse, guaranteed to bring exciting tastes and flavours.

Step into our classic eighteenth-century setting reminiscent of the Salon de la Paix in the Château de Versailles to watch the skillful performance of our teams at work in le Meurice Alain Ducasse haute cuisine restaurant and share a wonderful winter experience with us!

Oysters and caviar, lobster and venison… On Christmas Eve our maîtres d’hôtel will serve exquisite gourmet dishes, prepared according to the philosophy of cuisine of the great Alain Ducasse.

For the last dinner of the year 2019, our Michelin-star chefs will deploy all their creativity to reveal the subtleties of black truffles and the delicate aroma del tarfufo bianco del Alba (Italian white truffle) to bring you an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

Dinner on 24 December:

900 euros per person, drinks included, or 650 euros per person without drinks.

Dinner on 31 December:

1350 euros per person, drinks included, or 990 per person without drinks.

Restaurant Le Dali

On the 24 December, guests of Le Dali restaurant can sample the subtleties of truffle used as flavouring for turbot or poularde (a French-style festive chicken dish). A special new agrume based dessert will provide a memorable final light touch to the meal.

To bring in the New Year there will be foie gras, scallops and venison accompanied by vegetables from the traditional French gastronomy. This memorable moment will come to a grand finale with a special tasting of the Bee, the very latest creation of our pastry chef.

Dinner on the 24 December:

700 euros per person, drink included, or 480 euros per person without drink.

Dinner on 31 December:

380 euros per person, without drink.

Our sommelier will advise guests who wish to order wines to accompany the menu.

Our Special Brunches

On Christmas Day, after having sampled one or two viennoiseries, guests can indulge in lobster terrine, and then choose one of the many freshly prepaired desserts.

Finally, on New Year’s Day, Le Meurice invites everyone to celebrate the New Year by sharing brunch with family and friends. Guests can enjoy the delights of the famous sweet and savoury buffet, including tempting delicacies such as a refreshing glass of vegetable juice or a mouth-watering American-style lobster stew, all followed by a medley of delicious desserts.

Christmas Brunch:

175 euros per person, with drinks, including a glass of Champagne.

New Year’s Day Brunch:

180 euros per person, with drinks, including a glass of Champagne.

Christmas Tea Time by Cédric Grolet

During the busy festive season, visitors can come and enjoy a moment of respite from Christmas shopping at Le Meurice, and taste the artisanal gourmet sweets in peace and quiet. The Lemon 2.0 and Royal Gala Apple 2.0, peanut cookies and pistachio tart … Cédric Grolet and his team will offer guests a special festive Tea Time experience, a moment to be savoured indoors and away from the cold outside.

Available every afternoon from the 5 to 31 December. 80 euros per person, hot drink included.

Black Bar au Meurice

During December’s short winter days, the “Black Bar” mood takes over at Le Meurice’s Bar 228, and is reflected in a dedicated snacking menu. Black truffle and caviar are the highlights of a special gourmet experience and provide the perfect accompaniment to the new signature cocktail, Midnight in Paris.

The Yule Log

This year, Cedric Grolet will create a healthy-style Yule Log reinventing the lemon. Through blending bio-cereals and fresh herbs, this new creation offers the fresh and perfect way to finish a festive meal.

Lemon and Fresh Herb Yule Log will be available at restaurant Le Dali from 16 to 26 December 2019 inclusive (20 euros per portion), or directly from La Pâtisserie du Meurice par Cédric Grolet from 17 to 31 December.
