If you love opera and exquisite surroundings, you’ll love this exciting new partnership. Hotel de Rome, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Berlin, has recently announced an exciting partnership with the newly re-opened Berlin State Opera on Bebelplatz.

The collaboration between the two historic buildings underpins the five-star hotel’s leading position as the top destination for culture and entertainment in the Berlin Mitte district. It took an impressive seven years to renovate Berlin’s oldest opera house, which now shines with fresh brilliance and offers visitors an exciting new sound experience.

“Now that the State Opera is re-opening on Unter den Linden directly opposite our hotel, our culture-loving guests will not only benefit from our central location, but also from our exclusive offerings, including season tickets in the best seats in the State Opera,” commented Hotel Director Gordon Debus.

Located in the heart of the city, Hotel de Rome boasts some of the most-coveted opera seats in the best section of the opera hall so that patrons can savor the new features in full. The hotel has reserved two of these seats as exclusive season tickets for its guests, who can purchase them directly from the hotel’s concierge.

What’s more, to celebrate the cultural partnership, Jörg Behrend, chef of Restaurant La Banca, has created a special pre-opera menu with two courses, including coffee and opera chocolates. In the La Banca Bar, guests will have the chance to enjoy one of the legendary cocktails created by Maestro Barenboim – the “Il Maestro Cocktail” or a pisco sour with twist. Other delicious alternatives are the “Opera Cocktail” and the “Opera Pastry De Rome” with champagne cream.

Add to the experience with Hotel de Rome’s tailored Opera Package, which includes culinary highlights and an overnight stay in the Classic Room with breakfast for two persons. Many of the hotel’s rooms and suites, including the luxurious Bebel Suite, offer direct views of the opera house.
