Following extensive renovations, The Oetker Collection’s Eden Rock St. Barths will reopen its doors to guests on December. 22. The highly anticipated reopening follows a period of restructuring after Hurricane Irma battered the luxury resort last September.
One of the world’s best hotels, this stylish stay is ideal for a Caribbean escape. The property will begin taking reservations on May 31.
Eden Rock’s 80 properties in its villa rental program were open this past winter. Its 34 rooms and suites have all been renovated, and two suites with pools have been added for guests to enjoy. Further plans for three new suites have been announced for 2019.
The new Rémy Room and Bar is named after Eden Rock’s initial owner, dating back to the 1950s; a casual beach bar was also added, plus a new sun deck with shaded loungers. The Sand Bar remains the culinary heart of the hotel and ideal for gourmands, with menus created under the direction of chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
General manager Fabrice Moizan commented that the hotel: “took a different perspective and sought an opportunity after a disaster. Eden Rock St. Barths is coming back stronger and better than before. Both the hotel and the team are refreshed, full of energy and ready to rock and roll.”
