The brand new Presidential Suite by Roche Bobois is a two bedroom, 1900 sq. ft. suite on the highest floor of the hotel (27) with luxurious interiors by the design house and retailer, Roche Bobois. Integrated throughout each suite are Roche Bobois signature pieces, including modular seating, architecturally inspired tables and chairs, and lush fabrics by designers by Maison Lacroix and Paul Smith, all offset by pieces from the hotel’s collection of artworks by Alex Katz.
The most memorable feature of each suite are the floor-to-ceiling windows looking directly onto the Empire State Building, accented by seating specifically chosen by the Roche Bobois team to encourage guests to linger over the view.
Each king-sized bedroom is connected to an oversized closet and two large marble bathrooms with deep soaking tub, double vanity sinks, high-definition TVs embedded in the mirror and separate rainfall showers. The suite also boats an additional living area with a spacious dining area, which can accommodate up to 10 guests, a full kitchen equipped with Miele appliances, and private laundry facilities. But probably the most unique feature of the suite is a Michelin-starred restaurant brought right to your room.
An oasis of sophistication, the Michelin-starred Ai Fiori offers discerning diners gourmet dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ai Fiori – which means “among the flowers” in Italian – features a menu that celebrates the French and Italian Riviera, courtesy of the world-renowned Altamarea Group and Chef Michael White.
