1 Villa Punto de Vista, Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
This 10-bedroom villa offers incredible 270-degree panoramic ocean views, with a golden sand beach just footsteps away.

The property has been built up, rather than outwards, to reduce the villa’s footprint and boasts some impressive eco-credentials.

The roof tiles have been created using plastic bags and the large windows on the face of the building have been crafted using recycled glass.

Other notable initiatives include the use of solar panels to produce energy for the whole villa, including the rooftop jacuzzi, and the installation of monkey bridges which help the animals easily travel through the property’s private rainforest.

Most well-known for its use of aeroplane wings, the house is made almost entirely out of recycled parts of a 747 Boeing plane, with more than 4.7 million fragments being repurposed for the structure.

Zen-seekers will delight in the meditation deck crafted from the front of an aeroplane, measuring 28 ft. wide and 45 ft. tall, with the cockpit windows acting as a skylight for incredible natural light.

How it works
Step 1: Apply for Membership
Potential members first fill out an application form, putting their second home forward.

A commitment-free process, if their second home meets expectations for location, quality finishes and well-appointed furnishings, they’re in.

Step 2: Join the Club
New members be welcomed to The Club by one of THIRDHOME’s Member Experience experts. THIRDHOME will get an understanding for the new member’s travel preferences, so that each new member can get the most out of their membership.

THIRDHOME will offer travel recommendations based on their schedule, who they like to travel with, lifestyle, hobbies, and interests.

Step 3: Reserve Your Trip
Once a member has matched their travel preferences with the ideal stay, it’s time to reserve a trip!

They will simply deposit time from their own home into The Club which will earn them Keys* (travel credits). After an exchange fee for the stay plus the required Keys, it’s time to jet off into the sunset.
