With the festive season soon approaching, Cheval Blanc has put together a host of exciting activities for guests to enjoy and revel in the magical spirit that the holidays bring. After a whirlwind year, treat yourself to well-deserved, joy-filled Christmas and New Year celebrations with friends and family at one of the Cheval Blanc Maisons.

From the pristine beaches of St Barthelemy to the snow-drenched slopes of Courchevel, each of the sumptuous Cheval Blanc properties presents the perfect setting to unwind and be merry this festive season. From dining on 3-Michelin-starred cuisine on Christmas to watching the sun dip behind the Maldivian horizon on New Year’s Eve, the Cheval Blanc Ambassadeurs have curated a host of unforgettable experiences for guests to indulge in from December 2020 to January 2021.

Cheval Blanc is also creating a digital platform called “Wish Maker” to assist in creating magic these holidays. In the Cheval Blanc spirit of hospitality, and taking full advantage of the creativity and imagination of the staff, a page of the website will be dedicated to making the holiday dreams of guests come true at each resort.

An evening of stargazing at Cheval Blanc St Barthelemy? A personalized yoga retreat alongside the lagoon at Cheval Blanc Randheli? Each experience is made to measure by the guests and the chief stewards at each resort. The platform will be live in November, perfect timing for the holidays. No dream is too big or too small for the guests of Cheval Blanc.

Some of the festive activities already on the menu at the Cheval Blanc Maisons this festive season include:

“Bûche” de Cheval Blanc Courchevel by Yannick Alléno: Make a Wish

Chef Yannick Alléno, whose three Michelin stars shine at Le 1947 restaurant in Cheval Blanc’s alpine resort, unveils his new Bûche, a twist on the traditional French holiday cake. Inspired by the snowy slopes of the resort and the whimsy of a snow globe, the Yule log-shaped cake pivots open to reveal a wish engraved in its heart. It’s a secret!

Once this holiday sentiment is uncovered, delighted diners can relish this deliciously engineered confection, discovering inside the light vanilla cream, fluffy as powdered snow. A crispy Piedmont hazelnut biscuit topped with wild blackcurrant gives a textural contrast to the airy cream, held in place by the white chocolate mendiant where the wish will be inscribed. The flavors blend and complement each other as the tasting progresses. Go ahead, make a New Year’s wish!

Serenity and well-being at Cheval Blanc Randheli

Cheval Blanc suggests giving a gift to yourself: a Yoga and Meditation retreat to restore your mind and body to the natural and healthy vibrations of nature, for an immediate and enduring sense of well-being. During the retreat, the days unfold to the rhythm of massages, meditations, and sessions instilling inner balance with Puneet, master yogi of Cheval Blanc Randheli. The fully personalized support begins even before you arrive at the resort and continues after you leave, providing a lasting source of equilibrium. Absolute rejuvenation, expansiveness of spirit, and a sense of contentment to fulfill your wishes of serenity for the whole year.

Stargazing at Cheval Blanc Saint- Barth Isle de France

When night falls on the Caribbean island, Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France invites its guests to discover the wonders of the celestial dome. Comfortably installed on extra-large cushions, made cozy in blankets, and accompanied by twinkling fireflies, guests enjoy the spectacle in the incomparable observatory that is the Flamands Beach. The astronomer Jordan Blanchard puts the constellations and planets in perspective, and his Celestron C8 telescope brings them close enough to touch — an evening suspended in time and linked to the infinite. Guests will each be given the chance to make a wish upon their own star, so their dreams can come true.

A fresh start for 2021 with Brunch at la Case

Under the guidance of Chef Jean Imbert, the restaurant La Case at Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France is a delicious starting point for a Happy New Year in 2021. The brunch is refined, with a rainbow of dynamic fruit juices in vibrant shades from pomegranate red to pure detox green served with bread and pastries still hot from the oven. Lobster with habanero pepper or chicken with aromatic island herbs, prepared perfectly by Jean, complete an ideal meal to enjoy with friends. During the repast, guests can share their New Year’s resolutions and have them embroidered on a sarong, which they will receive at the end of this New Year’s Day, spent strolling under the Caribbean sun.

Cheval Blanc Saint- Barth Isle de France will reopen on 29 october 2020 and Cheval Blanc Courchevel will open for its winter season on 16 December 2020.
