Cap St Georges is renowned for its breathtaking location. Could you describe the natural surroundings and how they contribute to the overall experience at the resort?

Uniquely located at the cusp of the Akamas National Park in Paphos, Cyprus, the five-star Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort occupies a stunning natural seafront, the surrounding area lending to the air of authentic local character and redefining world-class luxury hospitality.

Our five-star resort is set against breathtaking panoramic views of the Mediterranean, with jewel-like islands dotting the horizon and enveloped by verdant gardens brimming with centuries-old olive trees, fragrant herbs and endemic flora, making Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort a sanctuary of holistic serenity and delivering an authentic island experience.

The resort has been crafted from natural Cyprus stone and designed to reflect the surrounding landscapes and embody the island’s rich culture in every line.

Over and above its beauty, what makes Cyprus, and Peyia in particular, a must-visit destination in your opinion?

There are loads of amazing places in Cyprus, but the beauty of Paphos really stands out with its enchanting sunsets, picturesque rugged coastline, Blue Flag beaches with pine-fringed sands and clear waters, unspoiled nature, and rich history.

There are many things to do in Paphos. It is great for fans of archaeological sites and those looking to get active on their vacations. Inhabited since the Neolithic period, it was once the centre of the cult of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, beauty and fertility. There’s always something new to discover!

The city of Paphos is known for its archaeological treasures. If you want to learn about history, you should definitely not miss the Kato Archaeological Park with its ancient Roman villas and mosaics, the harbour with the medieval castle, the Tombs of the Kings and much more. Designated a European Capital of Culture in 2017, the old town was completely refurbished. It’s now a fine place for a stroll while discovering hidden surprises.

Our resort’s expert tour guides invite guests to explore a variety of archaeological, historical, cultural, and natural sites in Paphos. You can visit the ancient baths of Adonis or embark on a thrilling excursion through the Avakas Gorge. Nature enthusiasts can watch baby turtles hatch in Lara Bay, hike the circular Trail of Aphrodite (a must-see from March to May due to its stunning panoramic views and rare wildlife sightings), or charter a yacht and head out to the famous Blue Lagoon. With so much to see, do and experience, you’ll want to return to Paphos again and again.

We seek to captivate our guests and indulge them with an array of unique emotions and experiences lasting a lifetime.

Do you have many returning guests? If so, why do you think this is the case?

Despite being open just over a year now, since June 2022, we already can look back to a substantial track record of returning guests, with the trend increasing.

We believe in delivering an authentic island experience that reflects the surrounding landscapes and embodies the rich culture of Cyprus throughout, in addition to the expected luxury surroundings and sublime personalised services.

Monitoring these in an active guest engagement process, we always welcome and encourage guest feedback either by elegant surveys or real-time guest feedback to uncover new insights. Reputation management is as important as ever, and we are filled with joy to have achieved high rankings on all guest evaluation platforms and channels within such a short time of operation.

Finally, what exciting developments or expansions can we expect from Cap St Georges in the future? Are there any plans for new amenities, events or partnerships on the cards?

This is just the beginning. Moreover, the project’s second phase will include a private clinic in collaboration with a well-known German medical centre, a private school and the island’s largest summer school in partnership with a Swiss house, and a state-of-the-art interactive museum highlighting the rich history and archaeology of the region. In addition to an on-site helipad and a 16-course tennis academy, our culinary and shopping experiences will equally be expanded with several luxury retail shops and restaurants with an additional clubhouse.
