Grab your suitcase – Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts is set to open Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai on Wednesday 20th June.
Perched on a scenic riverbank and just minutes away from the iconic Bund and Shanghai City Centre, The Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai will set a new standard for luxury accommodation in China’s most cosmopolitan city. Blending the distinctive Italian refinement of Bvlgari with rich layers of Shanghai history, the new property is set to offer guests a stylishly lavish experience.
As part of the visionary SUHE CREEK project, the Hotel features sweeping views of the Bund and of Pudong’s dramatic skyline with panoramic surroundings. Balancing nature, contemporary design and heritage architecture, the property combines a 48-floor tower, a majestically restored Chamber of Commerce Shanghai building completed in 1916 and lush gardens which surround the whole area.
Occupying the top eight floors of a 48-story tower that is also home to The Bvlgari Residences, the new hotel features 82 rooms with 19 suites. Each offers ambient surroundings with sleek interiors that the Bvlgari brand is renowned for. Interiors have been designed for Bvlgari by the renowned architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners, the same team behind the Bvlgari Hotels in Milan and London, as well as the Bvlgari Resort in Bali.
For the foodies, don’t miss a visit to the rooftop Il Ristorante – Niko Romito and Il Bar, will offer fashionable and buzzy new city hotspots for Shanghai.
La Terrazza on the rooftop, offers breathtaking views of The Bund and Pudong, and the Bao Li Xuan restaurant, serving exquisite Cantonese classics and local Shanghainese specialties in the historical atmosphere of the Chamber of Commerce Shanghai building adjacent to the Hotel tower.
Guests can also enjoy a 2,000-square-metre Bvlgari Spa and fitness centre filled with La Mer and Amala products, as well as a glamorous 500-square-meter Bvlgari Ballroom with triple-height ceilings for more elegant evenings.
