Durinox by BLANCO SteelArtis offering a sensational material innovation. The Durinox surface is more than twice as hard as traditional stainless steel worktops, which makes it extremely resistant to scratches. The timeless aesthetic that is inherent to exclusive stainless steel is given a new interpretation.
The manufacture of Durinox is based on technologies used in aviation and space travel that Blanco has developed further – with extremely impressive results: Durinox has the highest hardness level of any uncoated stainless steel worktop, and is unbeatably resistant to scratches. At the same time the company, which has decades of history in stainless steel, has fundamentally reinterpreted the material. Its inherent timeless aesthetics are an experience that can be seen and felt.
An individually manufactured stainless steel worktop, BLANCODurinox is available in a wide range of sizes and with seamlessly fitting BLANCOZerox bowls with a Durinox surface, providing a unique breadth of exclusive system solutions. Worktops with a Durinox finish are available in thicknesses of 12 to 100 mm and lengths of up to approximately 3.80 metres. And extremely attractive solutions can be achieved with the elegant SolidEdge finish.
The trailblazing material innovation BLANCODurinox offers building clients endless possibilities for exceptional kitchen designs with exquisite stainless steel worktops. The range of SteelArt worktops now available in a total of three finishes – Durinox, satin polish and silk matt – offers planners a material and design variety that has never been seen before. The award-winning stainless steel worktop is also the impressive confirmation of the uncompromising quality standards of the SteelArt high-tech production facility.
Elegant edges
The high-tech BLANCO SteelArt production facility has redefined stainless steel with the exclusive BLANCO Durinox worktop. Durinox is extremely resistant to scratches and has a luxurious velvety-matt feel. The surface is now also available for ZEROX bowls, front and back panels for even greater flexibility. BLANCO SteelArt is now extending the programme with a new edge design for Durinox worktops. The clever rim has a smart, filigree chamfer and is extremely elegant. The edge design, which is already available for other SteelArt worktop surfaces, is now also available for Durinox, and can be made with a thickness of 12mm.
It is the mix of surfaces that gives these custom-made kitchen islands their unique aesthetic appeal. The new rim design in satin polish together with the velvety-matt Durinox surface and a seamlessly-integrated CLARON bowl makes for a particularly eye-catching combination.
Even curves or rounded lines in the innovative Durinox worktop are possible with the new chamfered rim design, opening up an array of new options for kitchen planners. The development once again underscores BLANCO’s decades of expertise in processing stainless steel.
