Aman is expanding its beautiful Utah desert resort with a new standalone luxury encampment, Camp Sarika by Amangiri, that will open in April 2020.

Camp Sarika by Amangiri is located a 30-minute hike or 5-minute drive across the desert from Amangiri. The camp will feature 10 elegant and spacious bedroom pavilions; two relaxing spa suites; a main pavilion; a restaurant; swimming pool and jacuzzi.

The encampment which is surrounded by five national parks and overlooks the mesa rock formations, will elevate the wilderness experience to one of unmatched comfort and privacy.  Complementing the clean lines and natural material palette of Amangiri’s suites, the Camp Sarika pavilions designed by Luxury Frontiers each boast one or two bedrooms; indoor living and dining areas, as well as oversized terraces with fire pits and heated plunge pools.

The two serene spa suites will offer spa therapies inspired by traditional Navajo wellness practices. In-house brand Aman Skincare will be used for all treatments. Al fresco yoga and meditation sessions overlooking the majestic desert expanse will be provided.

The Aman Spa at Amangiri will be available to guests too, which offers hydrotherapy treatments, a flotation pavilion, five indoor treatment rooms and two outdoor treatment terraces with panoramic desert views.

Activities are a plenty at the Amangiri and Camp Sarika venues and include hiking, canyoning, nightly storytelling and stargazing, horseback riding and climbing Via Ferrata – a protected route.

The on-site restaurant features an open kitchen that will use local produce to cater for all guests, including vegetarians and vegans. The camp guests will have exclusive use of the restaurant during the day, and in the evening, the restaurant will be open to all Amangiri guests. With a warm ambiance, sweeping views and indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant will be the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy healthy nourishment.
