Duistt arises from the will and desire to produce luxury furniture pieces with attention to quality, authenticity, and a timeless design. Having experience working with upholstery and furniture, Olga Torres, the brand’s founder, considers artisanal manufacturing and traditional techniques to be one of the bases of Duistt.
Duistt’s design and production process is extremely varied, combining classic and modern design with the use of noble and natural materials. The handcrafted work and artisans’ expertise last through generations and are something that Duistt really values.
The first collection was very personal, reflecting the taste and history of its founder. The collections that followed had different sources of inspiration, such as the mid-century design style, culture, art, world-scale architecture, and urbanism, among others.
It is important to point out that all Duistt pieces can be customized to reflect the customer’s personality and needs. Resulting in a unique decoration that is tied together by a common thread. The durability, quality and design of the pieces bring sustainability as a major pillar, in addition to the fact that the production is by order, which avoids the waste of raw materials.
Duistt’s showroom is based in Porto – Portugal, and can be visited by prior appointment.
