Born in Ancona in 1964, Moreno opened his firstrestaurant,La Madonnina del Pescatore, inSenigallia – a port town which lies on Italy’s breathtaking Adriatic coast -when he was just twenty years old.
Since then, Moreno and restaurant LaMadonnina del Pescatore have gone from strength to strength, mentioned by The Wall Street Journalamong the best ten European fish restaurants in 2011,and receiving18/20 scores by the Guida Espresso 2011 along with two stars from the Michelin Guide for Italy.
Today he is considered one of the most innovative Italian chefs, a real enfant terrible of international cuisine who plays with conventional Italian food traditions and always ensuresliveliness in his culinary creations.
