Martin Fauster is heading up the kitchen at the prestigious Hotel Königshof in Munich, right by the busy Stachus. Originally from Austria, Fauster learned his trade with some of the biggest chefs in Austria, Switzerland, France and Germany, most notably spending five years at restaurant Tantris in Munich, three of which as sous chef. He became head chef of gourmet restaurant Königshof in 2004 and since then he is always on the look-out for fresh, high-quality produce from the region and around the world. Combining traditional and modern elements, his cuisine inventive and full of flabour.
