After graduating from Hotel Management School in Merano, Luis worked at Romantik Hotel Stafler, Hotel Alpen Royal, Jöhri Talvo in St Moritz, Döllerer’s Genußwelt in Goling, Almhof Schneider in Lech and Ristorante Arquade – Villa del Quar in Verona.

Since 2007 he has headed the kitchen of the gourmet restaurant in the Relais & Chateaux Castel Fragsburg above Merano.

With his own unique culinary style Luis creates exceptional menus, attracting guests from far and wide. That’s because he is able to surprise them with new stimulating sensory impressions every day and to impress them with dishes from regional products and flavours from around the world.
