Chef Muñoz is a pioneer of food as art, as head chef of Madrid-based three Michelin Star restaurant, DiverXo. As a young alumni of high-end Asian stalwarts Hakkasan and Nobu, David’s specialty lies is fusion Iberian and Chinese and Japanese cuisine.

David’s passion for cooking emerged when he was a boy, growing up in Madrid, being taken to restaurant Viridiana, run by Abraham García. Soon, García became an inspiration and chef Muñoz took to catering college, leading him to gain professional experience in Spanish kitchens, like Viridiana and Balzac. His experience in London was an enlightening one, where he worked at Nobu and Hakassan.

Back in Madrid in 2007, David opened his own business: DiverXo. The restaurant is going from strengths to strengths and has been awarded three Michelin Stars since opening.
