Originally from Rimini, on the East coast of Italy,Andrea first took aninterest in becoming a chef at the age of 19 while in Canada. In 2004 he returned to his home country of Italy to train further with the great Michelin masters.
Now having at least 16 years of experience under his belt, Andrea is no stranger to the fine dining scene. He has travelled extensively across the globe counting Australia and Canada as place in which he left his mark. Before starting at the Palazzo Versace Dubai, Chef Gaiahas held positions at some of the most renowned Michelin Star rated hotels andrestaurants in Europe. These include the Grand Hotel Villa Feltrinelli, Gargnano, Italy which hold2Michelin Stars; 1 Michelin StarHotel Carducci, Cattolica, Italy; Grand Hotel Bauer Spa,Venice, Italy; Georges Blanc, Vonnas, France which have3 Michelin Stars; and most recently PierreGagnaire’s Three Michelin Star restaurant inParis, France.
