Le Bristol raises the bar with the unveiling of Le Bar du Bristol

The first hotel to be awarded palace status in Paris, Le Bristol is now also the place to enjoy a cocktail or glass of Champagne in the capital, following the opening of the beautiful Le Bar du Bristol this month.

Designed by renowned architect Pierre-Yves Rochon and Maja Oetker, Le Bar du Bristol isopen every day from 5pm to 2am, with DJs playing Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 9.30pm. The AA Hospitality Awards took place at the Hilton Park Lane last night, celebrating the best of the UK’s food, drink and hotel industry

The evening kicked off with a Champagne reception before guests sat down to a pre-recorded opening tributeto the Awards courtesy of Heston Blumenthal and Raymond Blanc. Jason Atherton of the Pollen Street Social, awarded his fourth AA Rosette on the night, created a three-course menu of scallop ceviche, salt roast lamb and tiramisu, prepared by the hotel’s kitchen team under Atherton’s direction.
