Hyatt heads to Africa with the opening of its first luxury venue in Morocco…

Hyatt has long been known for its luxury venues and its latest hotel will simply add to its incredible portfolio. The hotel in Taghazout bay, 10 miles north of the coastal town of Agadir, will offer guest 152 rooms to choose from all equipped with sea-view balconies, along with an on-site surf camp, tennis club and golf academy at the beautiful new 18-hole golf course designed by architect Kyle Philips, as well as hang-gliding, hiking and mountain biking.

For all of those who are looking to stay fit during your African retreat, the hotel offers two outdoor swimming pools and a 24-hour Gym. Alternatively, if pampering and relaxation are more your bag, then head to the ASENFO spa. At the new Taghazout bay resort guests can unwind in the authentic Hamman, hot tub or sauna, or enjoy a pampering session in one of the six treatment rooms available.

Peter Fulton, group president for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Southwest Asia, Hyatt.

“We look forward to welcoming guests to Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay, where they will experience the authentic hospitality and purposeful service for which the Hyatt Place brand is known.”

This goes without saying as the new luxury and sustainable resort is set within the peaceful foothills of the atlas mountains and allows guests uninterrupted views of the stunning Atlantic coastline.

“Every aspect of the hotel was designed with our guests in mind to ensure we cater seamlessly to their 24/7 lifestyles,” said General Manager Gautier Py. “I look forward to welcoming both our guests to this picturesque and tranquil environment where they can enjoy stunning ocean views while either relaxing at the pool or playing golf in the resort’s smartly designed course.”
