With World Mental Health Day falling on 10 October, Spa at Raffles Dubai is encouraging guests to make more space for quiet moments throughout the month. Phones are left outside the spa, creating a screen-free setting where the focus stays on slowing down and switching off.
Among the treatments designed for a deeper reset is Mindful Dreams, a 90-minute ritual combining a Balinese-style massage with breathwork and guided meditation. Essence of Arabia also runs for 90 minutes, bringing together massage, sound healing and elements inspired by Arabian wellness traditions. The treatment is designed to encourage relaxation and restore a sense of balance. Mindful Dreams and Essence of Arabia are both priced at AED 750 for 90 minutes.
For an aromatherapy-led option, Aroma Touch pairs essential oils with massage to help ease tension and promote a sense of calm. It is available as either a 60- or 90-minute treatment. Guests looking to place more emphasis on rest can opt for the Herbal Sleep Cocoon. The 60-minute ritual combines a lavender body scrub, herbal wrap and scalp massage, with the experience centred around relaxation and better sleep. Aroma Touch costs AED 550 for 60 minutes or AED 750 for 90 minutes, while the 60-minute Herbal Sleep Cocoon is AED 550.
The Spa is also introducing three new experiences for October. Pink October – Women’s Wellness Journey is a 180-minute treatment created in celebration of women’s wellbeing. It begins with a full-body exfoliation, followed by a grounding massage with focused abdominal work. A personalised facial enriched with nutrient-rich botanicals completes the experience. The treatment is priced at AED 990.
Tension Reset, meanwhile, combines a targeted upper-body massage with an express facial over 75 minutes. The massage focuses on the back, neck and shoulders before moving into the Skin HIIT Facial, which uses energising and lifting massage techniques to refresh tired-looking skin. The experience is priced at AED 500. Queen Skin Therapy, on the other hand, is designed for dehydrated, travel-stressed or tired skin. The 75-minute facial uses nourishing actives to restore moisture, support a smoother texture and leave the skin with a fresh, dewy finish. It is priced at AED 520.
Time at the spa can also extend beyond the treatment room. Facilities include a steam room, sauna, whirlpool and outdoor swimming pool, giving guests the option to turn a single treatment into a longer break from the city. Rather than limiting the focus on wellbeing to World Mental Health Day itself, Raffles Spa is using October as a reminder to make more room for rest, disconnect from screens and slow the pace where possible.
