ME London has introduced a new in-room wellness experience designed to bring recovery treatments directly to guests. Created in partnership with London wellness hub The Self Love Lab, the hotel’s new Recovery Lab combines red-light therapy, guided wellbeing rituals and recovery tools in a kit that can be added to any room booking and used at the guest’s own pace.
The concept brings together The Self Love Lab’s approach to manifestation and mindfulness with LED technology from skincare brand FOREO. With a focus on relaxation, skin health and physical recovery, guests can follow guided rituals intended to help regulate the nervous system while using a selection of FOREO devices.
Among them is the brand’s Anti-Aging Silicone LED Mask, an ultra-light, wireless mask featuring eight targeted light wavelengths. Each is designed to address a different skin concern, with red light aimed at smoothing the appearance of wrinkles, green light used for brightening and yellow light intended to reduce redness.
The experience also goes beyond facial skincare. The Recovery Lab includes LED hand and chest masks, a dual LED light panel and wireless leg-recovery compression boots, designed to help ease muscle soreness, relieve tension and support circulation.
Its arrival taps into a wider change in hotel wellness, as properties look beyond the conventional spa and introduce treatments guests can use in their own rooms. Red-light therapy has become one of the more visible parts of that shift, driven by interest in its reported benefits for skin rejuvenation, inflammation reduction and muscle recovery.
For travellers, the appeal is also one of convenience. Instead of committing to a scheduled treatment, the Recovery Lab can be used privately and at any point during a stay, reflecting a growing demand for wellness experiences that fit around the guest rather than the other way around.
ME London plans to build on the idea with a series of LED-enhanced yoga sessions. These will take place in The Pyramid Atrium, the hotel’s events space and architectural centrepiece, which is also used for immersive brand experiences and cultural programming.
The launch adds another dimension to ME London’s wider identity. Set in the heart of Covent Garden, the hotel has long positioned itself around art, music and design, with its central London location placing guests within one of the capital’s busiest cultural neighbourhoods.
With the Recovery Lab, that experience now extends into the guest room itself, turning it into a private space for skincare, relaxation and physical recovery.
The Recovery Lab is available as an add-on to all stays from £80 and can be added when booking through ME London.
