As summer travel trends continue to shift, Powder Byrne has introduced a new collection of curated experiences designed to take guests beyond the expected. Part of its Client for Life programme, the latest offering spans everything from women’s wellness retreats in the Swiss Alps to immersive journeys through Japan’s lesser-explored volcanic landscapes, alongside a series of family-focused alpine stays.
Drawing on more than four decades of expertise, the company continues to refine its approach to luxury travel, combining detailed planning with a strong emphasis on service. Each itinerary is shaped around the idea of creating lasting, meaningful experiences—whether that takes the form of a multi-generational holiday, a group getaway, or a solo retreat.
What sets these trips apart is the level of support that runs throughout. Every booking includes pre-travel concierge assistance as well as full in-resort services, from curated activities and dedicated on-site teams to children’s programmes and high-quality childcare. The result is a seamless experience, where even the smallest details are handled with care.
With rising temperatures across Southern Europe prompting travellers to rethink peak-season plans, Powder Byrne has also leaned into the growing appeal of the ‘coolcation’. A selection of alpine destinations is available across July and August, offering fresh mountain air, open landscapes, and a more temperate alternative to traditional summer hotspots.
In St. Moritz, available from 11th July to 1st August, guests can explore the Engadin Valley’s expansive scenery, with opportunities to sail across clear alpine lakes or hike through high-altitude trails. Prices start from £3,355 per person for seven nights in a Junior Suite Art Nouveau at Cresta Palace on a bed and breakfast basis, including full services.
Further along the Rhône Valley, Crans-Montana offers a balance of sunshine and cool mountain climate between 25th July and 8th August. Known for its combination of outdoor pursuits and a lively social atmosphere, the destination caters to both active travellers and those seeking a slower pace. Seven-night stays begin at £3,965 per person at Crans Ambassador.
Meanwhile, Arosa, available from 8th to 29th August, presents a more secluded setting. Surrounded by peaks and lakes, it lends itself particularly well to families looking to spend time outdoors, with pricing from £3,485 per person for a two-bedroom apartment at Valsana Hotel.
Alongside these alpine stays, Powder Byrne has also introduced a series of themed journeys, each tailored to a particular interest. For those drawn to adventure, a privately guided tour through Kyushu explores the country’s lesser-known volcanic south. Available between April and November, the itinerary highlights steaming landscapes, onsen towns, and historic sites, supported by expert guides and seamless transfers. Prices start from £10,485 per person for seven nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
Families, meanwhile, can take part in the Learn Together Programme in Arosa, which combines skill-building with time outdoors. Centred around mountain biking, the experience allows both adults and children to learn under the guidance of Powder Byrne’s team, with structured activities for younger guests and flexibility for parents. A seven-night stay for a family of four starts from £14,405.
In Crans-Montana, golf-focused groups can access one of Switzerland’s most prestigious courses, host of the Omega European Masters. This four-night programme, priced from £2,745 per person, blends play with relaxation, set against panoramic mountain backdrops.
Wellness is also a key focus this season. In Arosa, Powder Byrne’s women’s retreats, developed in collaboration with Byrne Pilates, offer a balanced programme of movement and rest. Led by instructor Emma Byrne, the three-night experience combines yoga, guided hikes, cold-water swimming and spa treatments, alongside social elements such as group dinners. Prices start from £2,550 for single occupancy or £2,105 per person sharing.
Beyond the itineraries themselves, the company has also introduced a new loyalty rewards scheme. Under the Client for Life programme, guests can now earn points towards future travel benefits, including spa treatments, private transfers, additional guiding, and exclusive trips—ranging from time at Polo Valley to private jet journeys.
