Three-Michelin-star chef Thomas Bühner will cook up a magical Christmas in the Swiss Alps.

The five-star Swiss Deluxe Arosa Kulm Hotel is extending its culinary team. For two nights only, German top chef of restaurant la vie will be the guest chef and add some 19 Gault Millau points and three Michelin stars to the 42 Gault Millau points already existing in the six restaurants in Arosa.

Restaurant la vie is located in the historic city of Osnabrück in Germany, opposite the town hall where the Peace of Westphalia was negotiated. For more than 20 years, Thomas Bühner has been in the league of Germany’s top chefs. After receiving several high-profile awards, Westphalia-born Bühner was awarded the third Michelin star at the end of 2011 – one of only nine chefs in Germany at the time. His avant-garde, three-dimensional aromatic cuisine has developed into his own unique style over the last 10 years, using the highest-quality products and techniques. Earlier this year, la vie was ranked among worldwide.

To experience this unique personality of gastronomy, you are welcome to an unforgettable evening on 22 or 23 December 2014 at the Arosa Kulm Hotel when Bühner and the in-house kitchen team will pamper you with a 5-course meal in restaurant Muntanella.

Prices per person: CHF 165 without wine or CHF 240 with matching wines. Or stay for a few nights with a package including three nights with breakfast, a two-day skiing pass, alpinspa, room upgrade and 10% discount on spa treatments from CHF 795 per person in a double room.

The so-called “ski in ski out” Arosa Kulm Hotel & Alpin Spa is located at 1,850m above sea level and is surrounded by the imposing Swiss Alps. Situated in the heart of the new skiing resort Arosa Lenzerheide, you can enjoy 225km worth of slopes!
