Daniel Boulud protégés chef Laurent Kalkotour, beverage director Alexander LaPratt and Leslie Affre – head of front of house – open new restaurant concept Atrium DUMBO in Brooklyn, New York.
Brooklynites flocked en masse to the opening of Atrium DUMBO on 25 July 2013 – a new restaurant concept by chef Laurent Kalkotour, beverage director Alexander LaPratt and Leslie Affre who is in charge of all matters front of house – all of whom worked together at DB Bistro Moderne in Midtown, New York.
The menu includes options like oysters on the half shell, quinoa taglietelle, ricotta gnudi and octopus, fennel and olive salad, while beverage director, Alexander LaPratt’s wine list features over 100 selections. The bar is serving up cocktails too, created by Payman Bahmani, including a delicious looking Toast and Marmalade cognac-based cocktail (pictured).
