Nicolas Isnard Hosts Culinary Week In Hong Kong

Head to Hong Kong for a taste of Parisian fine dining finery this December. 

Le Méridien Cyberport, the urban luxury resort nestled in the south side of the city, is set to welcome acclaimed French Chef Nicolas Isnard for a special culinary week this month.

Taking place from December 16 to 20 at Prompt Restaurant, book your place to taste the intricate flavours of La Provence with Chef Isnard and experience his enticing craftsmanship.

The Michelin-starred chef will showcase his culinary creations through specially designed Sunday brunch, set lunch and dinner menus. Guests will also be able to enjoy special wine pairing dinners for a further interactive experience.

The duo of  exclusive wine-pairing dinners, which take place on December 16 and 20, will offer foodies a rare opportunity to mingle with Michelin-starred Chef Isnard and also learn from experienced sommeliers.

The culinary gem of the week however, is the unmissable “Gala Dinner with the Stars”. Taking place on December 19th, guests will be greeted with a selection of delicious canapés and cocktails,  followed by a seven-course wine pairing dinner.

The feast will include an array of signature dishes – such as fresh jelly set oyster with caviar and its iodized cream, as well as the delectable large lobster ravioli, confit eggplant with its Asian style broth.

With a cooking style that combines tradition and innovation, Nicolas was raised in the South of France, where his intense passion for food stemmed from his Italian grandmother – he cooked by her side as a child. His culinary CV boasts a number of fantastic establishments, such as Michelin star Le Vieux Logis, and the two Michelin stars La Rotonde in Lyon.

At the age of 25, he worked as Chef de cuisine at L’ Auberge du Vieux Puits under three Michelin-starred Chef Gilles Goujon. Nowaways, Chef Isnard co-owns L’ Auberge de la Charme located near Dijon, the capital city of the historic Burgundy region in Eastern France – which holds a Michelin star in its own right.
