Good news for seafood lovers – Michelin-starred Nathan Outlaw is partnering with The Goring in London for an exciting new seafood restaurant.

Slated to open in late spring 2019 with a heavy focus on Cornish produce, Nathan’s new restaurant aims to bring the best of West Country treasure to London.  And as the king of all things seafood, Nathan Outlaw makes the perfect chef for The Goring’s new opening.

Known across the country for his exquisite seafood cookery, Nathan prepares dishes of simple yet elegant brilliance.  Among others, Nathan currently has two restaurants in Cornwall with three Michelin stars between them.

Designed to offer a more casual dining experience, the new restaurant will sit alongside the hotel’s flagship restaurant, The Dining Room. Helmed by Executive Chef, Shay Cooper., the elegant (and Michelin-starred) Dining Room is a place where exquisite British food triumphs.

Commanding views over The Goring’s majestic secluded garden, the restaurant will be housed in an ornate orangery, ensuring that the indoor and outdoor spaces are linked throughout the seasons. The architecture and design are being overseen by the inimitable Russell Sage.

Jeremy, CEO of The Goring commented: “We’re building an eccentric, uplifting space with the help of some very special craftsmen and designers, and the restaurant will be all about simplicity on the plate, freshness, and our usual heartfelt British service.”

Nathan Outlaw told us: “Creating a new restaurant with such an iconic British hotel is a huge highlight in my career. I can’t wait to get cooking!”

Alongside the restaurant, the hotel’s bar is set to become a destination in its own right. Transformed into a bright, lively space serving classic cocktails and British spirits, the bar will offer guests a truly memorable British experience.
