Stoke Park, the luxurious 5 AA Red Star Hotel, Spa and Country Club in Buckinghamshire is treating gourmands to a special ‘Meat’ the Chefs evening on Friday 29th March.
Stoke Park’s Executive Chef, Chris Wheeler, will join forces with his former boss, French star Jean-Christophe Novelli, Masterchef ‘The Professionals’ finalist Louisa Ellis, The Miller of Mansfield’s Nick Galer, Dez Turland, Hari Ghotra and the All England Club’s Robert Kennedy for a night of edible enchantment.
A menu for meat-lovers, each chef will cook one course, with all the beef and lamb served being Quality Standard Mark certified – ensuring a high quality and delicious bite.
The night will take place in Stoke Park’s stunning Fountain Room, commencing at 6.45pm with a Champagne reception with Pommery Champagne, followed by the dinner accompanied by fine wines from Justerini and Brooks.
Chris Wheeler told us: ‘We are really excited to welcome a group of extremely talented chefs to Stoke Park to cook up a fantastic 7 course dinner for our guests.
Each Chef will meet and greet the guests and answer any questions they may have about their dish. Each Chef has created a beautiful dish for the evening which I hope our guests really enjoy.’
A 5 out of 5 AA Rosette and Michelin award winning chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli has been dubbed “the nations favourite French chef”.
His culinary career began at the tender age of fourteen as a baker in his home town of Arras, Northern France, before moving on to become the private Head Chef to Elie de Rothschild at the age of 19.
In 1983. he moved to the UK where he spent a year taking care of Keith Floyd’s pub, ‘The Maltsters’, as Head Chef, whilst Keith was filming his famous TV shows. In 1996, Jean-Christophe then opened four restaurants in London, and so began the foundations for his internationally based mini empire – despite starting his solo venture with only £500 this name.
