This October Restaurant Frantzén will host a star-studded charity dinner for The Swedish Child Diabetes Foundation, with seven top guests chefs to cook up a storm.

For one night only, the Michelin star restaurant from Björn Frantzén will open its doors to a select few, to enjoy the pleasures of being cooked for by an outstanding line up of chefs including from Tom’s Kitchen, of Hedone, from Schloss Schauenstein, of Restaurant La Vie, , Restaurant Hertog Jan, Sang Hoon Degeimbre of L’air du Temps, and head chef, Björn Frantzén himself.

With a total of 14 Michelin stars between them this will no doubt be a charity dinner to remember, and with all proceeds going to The Swedish Child Diabetes Foundation, who could want for a better to cause to be indulging in these chef’s fabulous cuisine?

This is not the first time the two-star restaurant from Björn Frantzén has hosted charity dinners with previous events being dedicated to The Hunger Project amongst others, but this year’s focus was chosen due to it being a subject very close to Björn’s heart.

Speaking about the dinner, Frantzén stated “For this evening I aim to gather some of the world’s foremost authorities and entrepreneurs in the culinary field. I’m honored that the selected chefs have accepted my invitation. I’m also proud to say that as of today I’m an official Ambassador for the Swedish Child Diabetes Foundation”.

As a restaurant recognised as being one of the most acclaimed establishments in all of Sweden, where Nordic cuisine takes centre stage, expectant guests will be in for a real gastronomic treat at this unique event, which will take place on Monday5th October.
