Social Wine and Tapas

This year it seems like has Jason Atherton has barely had time to think, with the launch of a string of his newest ventures including the Marina Social at the Intercontinental Dubai, Sosharu, The Japanese restaurant in Clerkenwell, The Kensington street social, Sydney and the Clocktower restaurant in the New York Edition hotel. Now, he can add the Social Wine and Tapas to the list, the 6th London Venue of the Social Company.

This 70 cover bar and restaurant will have it’s focus on the sommelier, offering a range of quality, rare and fine wines alongside its simple yet well executed tapas menu from head chef, Frankie Van Loo.

The new social wine bar will also feature an in house wine shop to add to its chicness, allowing people to purchase the carefully selected wines on offer. This service is accompanied by a knowledgeable host of sommelier staff that can make the purchasing decision that bit easier.

In terms of food, Jason continues with his successful formula; high quality local produce prepared in a modern and stylish way. Atherton and Van Loo combine the best of British produce with modern and mouthwatering tapas dishes, which reflects the restaurant ambience as well as celebrating the vibrant London food scene.

In addition to the tapas menu, which includes dishes such as jamon, Manchego and truffle toastie and crème Catalan with orange, there will also be a seasonally changing selection of cheeses and charcuterie. The perfect accompaniment to the most social wine bar around.
