With menu items like savoury lollies, snail porridge and hot & iced tea on the menu, diners are in for a truly unique experience.

While The Fat Duck in Bray is being refurbished, Heston has taken his restaurant to the Crown in Melbourne for a limited run. From February 3rd, 2015 until August 15th, The Fat Duck Melbourne will host diners for a very uniqueand very Heston meal. The dining room, which seats only 50 people at a time has been decorated in dark colors and opulent fabrics with views of the river below and there is a large 8m by 2m “interactive jigsaw” featuring a caped Heston, and a Fat Duck fob watch that counts down to the last service on August 15 take up pride of place on the two walls.Out of the 90,000 people who entered a ballot to attend the dinner, 14,000 were able to secure a spot. Each diner will receive a piece of the puzzle that will progressively be completed with the last piece going in on during the last dinner service in August.

The menu includes staple Heston recipes like theSound of the Sea, the Mad Hatters Tea Party, the Hot and Iced Tea wiht updated ingredients from Australian producers. It promises to be an unforgettable dining experience.
