After almost ten years manning the helm of his award-winning restaurant, Daniel Patterson has released limited edition tickets for his final month in the kitchens of Coi.
Saying goodbye toCoi

After having had a few months to adjust to the news that Daniel Patterson will no longer be in charge of the highly acclaimed Coi, it now seems that his final month of residency is upon us.

With January marking the official end of his almost ten-year reign at the San Francisco restaurant, this December will be the last chance to see Chef Patterson in action at the fine dining venue. To mark the month-long occasion, the exclusive December tickets have been released and are now on sale to the public. However with limited availability this will prove to be one of the most sought after dinners of the season.

For a festive fee of $220 guests will be treated to a 12-course customised tasting menu with carefully selected wines to compliment the gastronomic last supper.

Further details of the dishes are yet to be revealed but with nightly changing menu’s that vary based on the best and freshest ingredients in the area, we have no doubt that this will be a feast to remember.

With humble goodbyes and more projects in the pipeline, Daniel commented his departure saying,

I am thrilled to announce that early next year, Matthew Kirkley, formerly the chef at L2O, will take over asthe executive chef of Coi. Coi will always have a place in my heart, and I have cherished every moment in the kitchen over the last nine and a half years. I am deeply appreciative of our incredible staff, whose hard work and dedication helped make the restaurant what it is today. I am equally grateful for our customers, who put their faith in a new restaurant next to a strip club, in a part of town more commonly associated with drunken bar fights than with good food. I’m still amazed that we lasted a year.

With this we say thank you Daniel for your many years of hard work and dedication to fine dining, and look forward to the start of another wonderful 9 years under the direction of Chef Matthew Kirkley.

FOUR looks forward to all the future plans in store and will be catching up with both chefs soon in our ‘FOURty Seconds with…’ where you can find out all the latest information.
