Angela is back with her classic style and seasonal approach to Italian cooking with Café Murano number two, opening in Coven Garden on June 29th.
Café Murano

After seeing the success of the first Café Murano, the wonderful Italian café style restaurant from Angela Hartnett, it will be joined by a second venueat 34-36 Tavistock Street,in London’s world famousCovent Garden area.

The Café will follow the style of the original restaurant with its simple yet bold Italian dishes, fresh and select seasonal produce and the finest sourced Italian furnishings and wine to give it the final added luxury touches.

The 140-cover restaurant has been designed with relaxation, conviviality and true Italian spirit in mind. Russell Sage Studios, the company behind setting the ethereal mood through its use of terracotta, marble, dark wood finishes and dappled lighting has ensured that this café will have its own distinct personality away from its big brother in St. James street.

Aside from its title as a Pastificio (pasta-factory), mouth-watering dishes in the ‘Opera Quarter’ restaurant will include antipasti of octopus with potatoes, capers and paprika; ricotta courgettes with preserved lemon honey and truffle arancini kindly accompanying classic dishes of Chicken Milanese and Lobster linguine.

With a proudly all-Italian wine list and a new range of cocktails using the finest Italian spirits created exclusively for the Covent Garden eatery, pastificio dining has never been so gourmet!
