On MondayApril 25thSTUD!O will host an evening that will be the basis for a series of events with some of the brightest shining stars in worldwide gastronomy. Head chef, has wanted to facilitate a gathering of chefs that can provide extraordinary experiences,with world class chefs from all over the globe, at his home turf for a long time and now this will become a reality.
The first visit in the series of ‘STUD!O AND FRIENDS’ will be head chef and co-owner from the 3 star Michelin-restaurant Hertog Jan, located in Zedelgem near Bruges, Belgium.
Chef Gert de Mangeleer and sommelier Joachim Boudens caused quite a stir when they took over restaurant Hertog Jan, located in the beautiful city of Bruges, Belgium, in 2005. Just one year later, in 2006, followed by rave reviews from local press and prestigious culinary organisations alike, the restaurant was awarded its first Michelin star, followed by its second in 2009 and ultimately its third in 2011, which it has maintained ever since.Overseeing the kitchen at hertog Jan as executive chef, Gert produces dishes using modern techniques and his own home-grown vegetables, herbs and flowers which he grows at a nearby farm in Zedelgem.
With menu highlights still under lock and key, the inaugeralSTUD!O AND FRIENDS event will no doubt be a roaring success.
