All-Star Chefs Join Forces For Fine Wines & Food Fair In The Algarve

World-renowned chefs, award-winning wine makers and outstanding surroundings. This is one foodie fantasia you won’t want to be late for.

Taking place between 5 – 13 May 2019, join a number of the globe’s most talented gourmands for the exciting VILA VITA Fine Wines & Food Fair.

Hosted at the five-star VILA VITA Parc resort in the idyllic Algarve, over the course of one week, guests can devour seven days of pure gastronomy, delectable cuisine and mouth-watering creations, paired with the finest wines.

Join a stellar repertoire of world-renowned chefs, wine makers and gourmet producers for this exciting experience, which takes place (or should that be plate) every two years. With chefs such as Christian Bau, Daniele Perillo, Jacob Jan Boerma, Nigel Haworth and Jan Hartwig to attend (to name just a handful) this extraordinary week will bring together exceptional talent in beautiful surroundings.

Since launching, over 60 award-winning chefs from the Michelin Guide, San Pellegrino’s 50 Best Restaurants in the World, Gault et Millau and the OAD survey list have partaken in this unique event.

Here’s a taste of 2017’s edible action:

2019 will be no different, with the upcoming edition featuring a number of delectable new additions to the lineup of events, tastings and talks.

The 8-day programme will include a series of exclusive gourmet dinners in VILA VITA Parc’s two-Michelin star Ocean Restaurant and fine dining restaurant Atlântico, prepared by different guest chefs on each evening, for a restricted audience of 30-80 food and wine lovers. The exceptional Kitchen Party –  the centre stage of the programme – will take place on Saturday 11 May 2019, featuring renowned international guest chefs and winemakers from around the world, and catering to over 500 guests.

From Portuguese feasts to themed dinners, there’s plenty to be enjoyed. The itinerary will include everything from an evening dedicated entirely to Champagne to top chef dinners, hosted by the world’s most talented chefs. On Saturday May 11, the famous Kitchen Party will take place at the Clubhouse – during which 500 guests will have the opportunity to taste the creations of 15 acclaimed chefs, paired with top international wines, as well as delicacies showcased by selected gourmet producers.
