Chef Andreas Caminada is the youngest three-star chef in Europe. And his restaurant “Schloss Schauenstein” is a Mecca for high-end-foodies. It lies in the valley Domleschg, more precisely in Fürstenau, in the canton of Graubuenden. The Domleschg is the passageway to the Alpine passes Splügen, San Bernardino and Julier. Because of this geographical location, it has the most castles in all of Switzerland. One of those castles is Schloss Schauenstein, built in the 12th Century, this is the place where Andreas Caminada’s gourmet-restaurant is located.
