Sascha Hamp is the new head chef at restaurant Culinarium R at Weinromantikhotel Richtershof, which is located in a former colonial goods store. The 28-year-old always concentrates on the basic food product. He reinterprets the classical Haute Cuisine by playing with aromas and by arranging the products on the plates creatively. Sascha Hamp offers three different menus, one is a vegetarian. Sascha Hamp graduated as chef at Weinhotel St. Stephanus in Zeltingen-Rachtig with Hermann Saxler. During his culinary career he worked at the Kurfürstliches Amtshaus in Daun with Jens Kottke, Tom Wickboldt and Thomas Reintges, at Südtiroler Stuben with Alfons Schuhbeck in Munich and in a final step at Hotel Bayerischer Hof with Steffen Mezger.
