To mark the 25th anniversary of culinary excellence at Alain Ducasse’s Le Louis XV restaurant, an unrivalled collection of chefs will assemble in Monaco this weekend for three days of celebrations.
240 chefs from 25 different countries will be at the Monte-Carlo SBM; holding astaggering 300 Michelin stars between them.
Saturday will see Ducasse highlight the Mediterranean produce he holds as a big inspiration in his cooking, while a large market will provide 100 speciallyselected products of the French Riviera.
Ducasse has tasked ten of the attending chefs to prepare their own interpretation of Mediterranean cuisine, using selected market produce, in front of the audience.
The gala dinner, taking place on Saturday evening, is set to be a memorable affair. The Louis XV salon and the Empire Room of the Hôtel de Paris will welcome over 400 guests, with a menuthat pays homage to the restaurant.
Chefs from around the world will be in attendance to share their knowledge and discoveries with each other, including Joel Robuchon, David Chang, Michel Guérard, Heinz Beck and Tom Aikens.
