This year, Blueprint Café is offering something a little different to celebrate Mother’s Day. On Saturday 9th March, the restaurant is teaming up with bespoke florist McQueen’s to offer a unique mother and daughter/son celebratory package. Guests will start their day with freshly baked pastries and coffee on arrival, followed by an in-depth demonstration and interactive 90-minute masterclass with McQueen’s Senior Tutor Duncan McCabe, a highly talented specialist florist. This exclusive treat also includes a three course set lunch at the elegant and airy Blueprint Café, where diners can enjoy panoramic views of the River Thames.

Launceston Place, Kensington, London

On Sunday 10th March Kensington’s favourite neighbourhood restaurant, Launceston Place, will offer the option of two three-course menus for families to spoil their mothers.  Head chef Tim Allen has included some of Launceston Place’s most popular British dishes on the menus, such as slow-cooked duck egg with braised white beans; roast longhorn beef with Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables and red wine sauce; and English custard tart scented with vanilla, spiced fruit strudel and orange ice cream.  

Lords of the Manor restaurant, The Cotswolds
